It was a day full of vintage and rustic charm when Cassandra, of Hamilton, ON and Greg, of Stoney Creek, ON exchanged vows in front of 166 family and friends in an outdoor ceremony at Beverly Golf and Country Club in Copetown, ON.
The stunning bride eased the groom’s nerves by having her ring bearer and flower girl carry a rustic barn board sign down the aisle that read, “Last chance to run”.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a relaxing cocktail hour listening to a live string band on Beverly’s elegant patio, which was then followed by a four-course meal in the majestic clubhouse.
Laughs, tears and memories were shared while the bride and groom’s friends, parents, and sisters gave witty and heartfelt speeches. After dinner, guests enjoyed music from the ‘80s and ‘90s, taking comical pictures in the photo booth, and star gazing on the candlelit patio. At the end of the evening, guests helped “Spread the Love” by taking home a jar of homemade jam.
The newlyweds enjoyed a weeklong honeymoon in the Bahamas and now live in the pleasant town of Ancaster.
